Lundy House Hotel - Woolacombe

It was a great hotel, we really enjoyed it. The double room was welcoming and had an electric kettle, central heating and a TV.

Highly recommended for short stay. The venue was absolutely great, I appreciated the stay and the location was brilliant next to bars and restaurants, restaurants and Mortoe and Woolacombe. My twin/double room was new-fashioned with great shower.

It had uncomfortable beds, maybe it was bad luck.

A Beautiful Stay with Room for Improvement

The nearby beaches are fine. Future guests should consider dining in town for more variety, as breakfast on-site wasn't available .

The stay here was lovely, especially enjoying the cozy beds and relaxing in the terraced garden every evening. There were great spots to unwind by the sea, like the lovely outdoor seating and nearby walking paths. Just a heads up, the interior decor could use a little updating, but it didn’t take away from how nice everything was! 😊

The location was amazing, with breathtaking sea views that made my stay truly special. The decor created a cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring the nearby beaches. I really appreciated the dog-friendly environment, allowing me to enjoy lovely walks along the coast with my furry friend. Although the breakfast staff seemed to struggle a bit, overall, it was a delightful experience.

The view from my room was nothing short of amazing, and the en-suite bathroom was really nice too. I loved spending time at the beach and lounging by the pool . I did wish there was a shower mat for safety, but overall, it was still a fantastic experience! 🌊

Amazing location and fab service!

We spent 2 nights in a Beautiful Double Room with a balcony and sea view. The area was awesome, with some cool pubs up the hill and a chill beach vibe. The breakfast staff were super friendly, giving great tips about the area. Just a heads up, the walk back up to the hotel is a bit steep!

The view from the Double Room with Sea View is great, giving you a fine panorama when you wake up. The location is fantastic for beach access and nearby walking trails.

The absence of staff is unsettling, leaving guests feeling exposed and unwelcomed, especially when the check-in is just a key left on a desk. The lounge has a neglected vibe with worn furnishings, resembling more of a garage than a comfortable gathering place. Plus, the rooms could use some maintenance. From stained and uncomfortable chairs to carpets in need of a good clean, details like these detract from the experience. The bathroom setup is cramped and poorly maintained, including a loose toilet seat and a blocked sink plug upon arrival. The lack of fridge in rooms and inconsistent water pressure on the top floor could be bothersome for some.

It was lovely and we would return, with a marvellous and stunning location.

The location was very nice, with amazing views and a cozy, comfortable room. A great spot for walking the dogs too!
